Year of Sitcom Movies....

Talks have been made of a possible Friends The Movie. So far all the three ladies are interested in the movie but there are no news on the former male actors Matt LeBlanc, Mattew Perry and David Schwimmer.

Now one can't help but to wonder if this came up after the great success of Sex in the City the Movie. Is this something fans will be looking forward to? Or is it Hollywood's new way of making a major quick buck for an already hit sitcom? Is this going to become a trend for all sitcoms that were a success for so many years and are off air now? Yes, yes, yes.... This will most likely become the new it thing. Off air sitcoms turn into movies. The only question is, how old of a sitcom can it be? I think that fans still need to remember the characters and at least how the show ended in order for it be popular enough to invest in. It can't be the reunion movie of Full House or Saved by the Bell, thank God!
