The Never Ending Wait!

First of all i wanted to wish everyone a Happy New Year! I hope this year is a great year for everyone.

I am officially a graduate, with a degree in Communication Arts. As an International Student I have filed for OPT and I have been waiting for more than 60 days. Well according to the processing time it will take about 90 days for any results to even be tracked down. The only problem I have with that is why do they even offer students at the schools to put in a start date on their application, knowing that immigration requires 90 days for processing. Becuase once you set your starting date and immigration processes your case you will not be able to get your employement card untill the 90 day processing is over. And if you have set your request date lets say from January 1st you will be able to work till the end of December of that same year. However you will loose two months unless you have applied for 3 months before your starting date. Yet the school doesnt offer application until 2 months before you graduate to submit your information. So be wise and pick a date so that you don't loose your employment time otherwise you are doomed.
